The most reliable way to reach ELT Pub is by email:
ELT Pub is run by one researcher alongside academic work, so please allow several days for a reply. Messages about factual errors are prioritised over everything else.
What to write about
Corrections
If something published here is wrong, please say so. Include the page, the specific claim, and — where you can — a source. Material corrections are made openly, with a dated note describing what changed, as set out in the editorial policy. You do not need to be certain before writing; a well-aimed question is enough.
Tool problems
For a bug or a wrong result in Journal Intelligence or Scholar Metrics, the most useful report includes:
- The exact journal name or ISSN you searched for.
- What the tool showed, and what you expected instead.
- Your browser and operating system.
A wrong integrity signal or a wrong quartile badge is treated as urgent. These tools inform decisions about where people submit their work, and a confident error is worse than no answer.
Questions about metrics and indexing
Questions of the “does this journal count for my promotion file?” kind are common and welcome, but please note that ELT Pub cannot tell you what your institution counts. Only your institution's written policy can. What we can do is explain what a given indicator actually measures, which is often where the confusion starts.
Collaboration and contributions
Proposals for guest articles, joint work, or tool ideas are welcome. Include a short outline and a note on your background. Contributions must meet the standards in the editorial policy, and guest pieces are published under the author's own name.
Press and speaking
For comment on generative AI in education and research, publishing integrity, or research metrics, please include your deadline in the subject line.
What not to send
- Requests to add, remove, or change a journal's rating. ELT Pub does not assign ratings. Quartiles and indexing come from SCImago and Clarivate, and corrections belong with them.
- Manuscript submissions. ELT Pub is not a journal and does not publish research articles or accept papers for peer review.
- Link exchange, guest-post-for-backlink, and SEO offers. These are not answered.
- Personal data. Please do not send unpublished research data, student records, or anyone's personal information by email.
Who you are writing to
ELT Pub is an independent project with no institutional owner. Correspondence is with its founder directly. More about the project and its funding is on the about page.
